how to sell at HELANDER:
Whether you wish to sell a single piece of art, a large collection, or the contents of a house, there are a number of ways to have your property valued by a Helander expert, including Consignment Days, Estate Assessment Visits and online Auction Estimates. All of our Valuation Services are free of charge for Sellers looking to sell through one of our Auctions.
2. SELLER'S SERVICES - PICK ONE THAT SUITS YOU
Once we have determined that your property is appropriate for sale at auction, our specialists will discuss with you the most appropriate way of transporting the Goods and the best venue to ensure the strongest bidding for the property. you may choose to bring your Items to us during Consignment Days or Helander can take care of packing and shipping of your Items. You may also use your own carrier. Please contact our Customer Services for further details.
3. SIGN A SELLER'S AGREEMENT & LET US TAKE CARE OF THE REST!
Before you sell your property at Helander, you must sign a consignment agreement. This is the contract we have with our sellers in which we agree to sell their property in one of our salerooms. It lists our terms and fees for services such as insurance, loss/damage liability, shipping and illustration. After you have signed the Seller's Consignment agreement, our specialists will take care of the rest!
4. RECEIVE YOUR PAYMENT
Approximately 10 days after the auction, you will receive a notification that lists the final bid price for your property. This settlement statement itemizes your sales results and net returns, based on the hammer price less a 25 % + 5 € commission with a minimum charge of 30 € + 5 €/ item (including VAT) and any agreed-upon expenses.
Approximately 30 days after each auction, Helander sends payment to sellers. If a buyer wasn't found, you should speak with your Helander contact to discuss either re-offering or collecting your property.
